According to reports from Wu, Morten Sogberg, the former Undersecretary of State for the Norwegian Ministry of Finance, will take office as the Secretary-General of the newly established Bitcoin Policy Institute (BPI) in August 2025. The organization aims to oppose the Bitcoin ban, promote legislative openness, and enhance public awareness of Bitcoin and the monetary system. Currently, BPI has received approximately 1.517 BTC in donations and has 121 paying members.
