According to BlockBeats, CryptoQuant founder Ki Young Ju stated that Bitcoin is showing a deflationary trend. The speed at which Strategy buys BTC exceeds the mining speed, and the 555,000 BTC held are non-liquid assets with no plans for sale.
The holdings of just MSTR alone have pushed the annual deflation rate to -2.23%, and with other stable institutional holders, the deflation rate could be even higher.
