According to PANews, Semler Scientific, a publicly traded U.S. company, has appointed Joe Burnett as the Director of Bitcoin Strategy. The company has outlined ambitious targets for its Bitcoin reserves over the next three years. By the end of 2025, Semler Scientific aims to hold at least 10,000 Bitcoins, increasing to 42,000 by the end of 2026, and reaching 105,000 by the end of 2027. The company plans to achieve these goals through equity, debt financing, and operational cash flow.

Eric Semler, the Chairman of Semler Scientific, expressed confidence that Burnett's appointment will support the company's long-term Bitcoin strategy. Since adopting Bitcoin as its primary reserve asset in 2024, Semler Scientific has achieved approximately a 287% return on its Bitcoin investments, resulting in a $177 million gain on its balance sheet.
