Meta Pool Suffers $130,000 Loss in Ethereum Network Attack

According to PANews, security firm TenArmor has reported that Meta Pool experienced an attack on the Ethereum network, resulting in a loss of approximately $130,000. The attacker exploited a vulnerability in the mint() function of the mpETH pool, allowing them to mint mpETH tokens without depositing actual ETH assets. Additionally, MEV frontrunner Yoink was involved in the attack.
