According to Foresight News, the Polygon Foundation announced that it has successfully completed a hard fork, with milestone and state synchronization now proceeding normally. The processing of checkpoints is underway, and the consensus finality of Polygon PoS has been fully restored.
Previously, Foresight News reported that the Polygon Foundation released an update addressing the milestone issue. The cause of the finality issue was identified, and a v2.2.11-beta2 version for Bor and a v0.3.1 version for Heimdall were released. The latter involved a hard fork, which was scheduled for implementation at 11:00 UTC+8. The team will continue to monitor the network's performance to ensure all issues are resolved.
