According to Odaily, Farcaster founder Dan Romero recently expressed strong criticism of Vitalik Buterin's views on local node operation. In a post on Wrapcast, Romero commented on Buterin's earlier long-form post, stating, "It's 2025, and users running nodes locally for personal use should get lost. Those among us who hinder the entire ecosystem's development to cater to these local node operators should also get lost." Romero further addressed Buterin, questioning whether he was listening or if the "ivory tower in Singapore" was only open to those operating local nodes. In response, Buterin suggested that Romero consider selling his ETH.
