Prediction market platform Kalshi has opened a new office in Washington D.C. to enhance its strategic lobbying efforts with the U.S. government. According to PANews, the company has appointed John Bivona, a political strategist with over 20 years of experience, as its first head of federal government relations. Bivona previously served as the first White House liaison for the Department of Homeland Security during the Biden administration. Additionally, Kalshi has hired Blake Bee, a former senior manager of state and local public policy at Amazon, to oversee state-level policy affairs.
