They say they like me, but I'm not the man of my dreams yet, not the one who keeps promises to himself, not the one with peace behind his eyes, not the one who wakes up proud of how he's living. They like who I am, but I still ache for who I could be, and some days, that gap feels like failure, like they see a light I haven't fully earned, and maybe that's what love really is, not waiting for someone to arrive, but believing in them while they're still on their way. and maybe becoming isn't about being ready first, because it's about rising, because someone sees who you fully are before you see yourself.
After talking to "someone", I won't name him cuz he told me not to use him for engagement farming...(he's a hater)
I have decided I might sell/give up on my gaming windows PC and move to iMac.
Pros:
- can't play majority of the games(fortnite), helps eliminate temptation - seamless integration with my MacBook and iPhone - less likely to waste time installing random apps or tweaking settings - better native security and privacy, no sketchy .exes - don’t need a big desk or bulky setup - iMacs are more elegant
Cons:
- less freedom with installing third-party or “sketchy” tools, its a blessing and a curse - if I ever want to play casually, options are slim. Again, blessing and a curse - majority of the web3 games are not on Mac OS - worse specs for the price, you pay more for less raw power - not as familiar with mac os as much as with windows - Not easily upgradeable, specially ram and gpu
Overall, I’m trading power and flexibility for focus and simplicity.
It’s less about what the machine can do, and more about what it won’t let me do.
Let me know if you have made this move or your thoughts on this. Seriously considering this life altering change. 🤓
You just got home from your dream job and are greeted at the door by your beautiful wife and kids. You’re all leaving tomorrow to go on vacation to the Maldives. Life is perfect, you’re the happiest and healthiest you’ve ever been and to top it all off, the lamp looks completely normal. But as you sit down to eat the amazing dinner your wife has cooked, you feel something slimy touch your leg. You know it’s all over, this perfect life is no more. You are in a state of shock, the only thing you can do is laugh. It finally caught you.
