My suggestion in DC this week:

Break “digital assets” into:

1) Bitcoin
2) Stablecoins
3) Everything else

Have councils, meetings, working groups, legislation for each

No more “crypto” (useless term that conflates wildly different things)

Reduce grift, stop wasting time

Went to the Jefferson memorial and left thinking about Bitcoin development 😅

I posted the same video yesterday on each platform

148 RT, 490 likes on X w/ 250k followers (comments mostly bots)

80 RT, 193 likes on nostr w/ 50k followers… AND 95 BTC micropayments (impossible on X)

Impressive for the freedom protocol!

If you believe (like me) that megacorps and states will eventually all adopt BTC, then it becomes even more powerful to spread the idea of BTC as a free + open system, so as much of the economic weight of the network as possible rejects authoritarian ideas to change the protocol

This is one of the worst bot waves I can remember on this app
