And it was in 2022, I did the cringiest thing imagineable.
I centered my brand around a dead project: Terra Luna.
Now I know what you're thinking...
"Why would you ever do something like that? No one cared about a token that went to zero."
But.... that's where you'd be wrong.
I actually realized this was a massive opportunity at the time.
1) There were A LOT of people that still cared about the future of Terra.
2) And there were very very few Terra creators left. (Most burned out and left in shame)
How did I know all this? Because I was one of the many people that lost tons of money in Luna.
I knew that there were other LUNAtics out there desperate to know:
> What was happening next? > Were projects on Terra going to other ecosystems? > What was happening with Luna 2? > Was Do Kwon really doing an airdrop?
And so I spent weeks trying to answer these questions.
For more than FORTY consecutive weeks, I posted a Terra Weekly thread.
It took hard work. It took discipline. Some of my threads were 25+ tweets long.
I was THE Terra news guy. And believe me, it was cringe.
But it paid off in the end.
No, Luna 2.0 did not survive, but I gained so much from this experience:
> I bootstrapped an audience and formed meaningful connections with my followers.
> I got the opportunity to meet project founders.
> I was offered a part time position at a Cosmos validator.
> I leveled up my writing skills 100x.
Why am I telling you all this?
Because I want you to stop worrying about what others think.
Being cringe is not handicap.
It's a super power.
I've carried this lesson with me ever since my Terra days, and it's how I've built my brand to over 40k followers today.
Be yourself, be authentic, be different, and the results will follow.
@useBackroom just raised the max contribution on the community sale from 2 to 5 ETH.
They didnât announce it but their recent tweet is a clear change from their docs.
Personally, I much preferred the lower cap and was hoping they would keep it this way to encourage max participation after the genesis launch (which favors bigger accounts with more points).
> Respond to comments from 24 hours ago that I missed (Yes I'm psychotic and actually do this.)
> Stake more Vader. (I desparately need more points.)
> Compile information from questions in our recent spaces with @ripchillpill @R2D2zen into a post. There was some very interesting information from our special guest: @useBackroom
> Work on a speculation thread on @bl4nkorg. Ultra's latest mad experiment.
Important questions we need answered about @useBackroom
> What makes your product than just ChatGPT summaries added to Friendtech?
We have seen this playbook before: slap AI summaries onto anything, call it an agent, and hope it sticks. We need to know what makes Room's agents special?
> What is the fee split between creators and platform developers on keys traded?
On friendtech, there were many concerns about the fairness of the fee split. (Nearly half of all revenue on the platform went to Developers and the rest was split between creators)
> How often will your AI agents provide updates and insights in rooms? Will they work in real time?
If agents dont work in real time, you might miss out on valuable time sensitive tweets on social media.
> How will privacy of users with AI agents inside rooms be protected?
Privacy in the context of AI is ALWAYS relevant.
> Creator "Rooms" are not available until Phase II, how long will this be after TGE?
If there's not much functionality at TGE, what will keep users from dumping?
> Will users be able to make personal queries to the agent or is it just summaries?
I could see a lot of value in the ability to historically query insights from a creator and not just a feed of summaries periodically.
I set aside $2000 for 10 of my biggest supporters from the loudio competition.
There was no completely fair way to do this.
> I manually scanned every single post of mine during the competition.
> I compiled a list of 50+ names that supported me consistently throughout (From start to end). More interactions with my posts meant a higher chance of making this list.
> I ran those names through a random name selector tool.
> Out came 10 names.
Why 10? Why not more?
I wanted the amount of money to be significant for each person, something to have a meanigful impact.
Let me be clear, there were way more than 10 of you who supported me. And I am appreciative of each and everyone of you.
However, the final selection for the giveaway ultimately came down to a bit of luck.
Congratulations to the following. You will recieve a DM requesting a wallet address to send the $200 to.
Today, Iâll be taking some time to relax and spend time with family.
My watchlist for week ahead:
> @useBackroom This is by far the most anticipated virtuals launch coming in 3 days. Keep in mind, you need to yap about it to be in the presale. (I am excited to try the platform and see how much of an upgrade this is over friendtech.)
> @MagicNewton : With TGE expected this month and additional rewards on the table, I will be yapping and watching closely.
> @R2D2zen made an excellent thread on the Kaito loyalty factor. I recommend you take a read. I will be evaluating my strategy again on which pre TGE projects to promote.
Enjoy this picture from my past travels.
I promise to reply to many of you a bit later. Have a great day.

You are forced to spend ALL your Virgen points on one of these.
Which one do you pick and why?
(No seriously, I need help deciding)
Key facts on both projects.đ
@baibysitter
> Live and 380% oversubscribed with 20 hours to go.
> Won a top 10 spot at the Virtuals Hackathon.
> This AI agent is a complementary agent that protects other agents from scams and loss of funds.
@useBackroom
> Launches in 4 days. Basically Friend tech 2.0 with one significant change. Creators do NOT have to manage their rooms. AI does it for them and filters out the noise.
> If the AI agent performs as advertised, this could be a massive uprgrade over Friendtech and become an actually useful monetization tool for creators.
