🚀 Ethereum Eyes $25K — Standard Chartered’s Bold Call as ATH Nears

After Standard Chartered raised its year-end estimate for Ethereum (ETH) to $7,500, it exceeded $4,700 on Wednesday and is nearing its all-time high.

Standard Chartered analysts boosted their 2025 Ethereum price projection to $7,500, up 87% from $4,000. Heavy institutional purchasing, regulatory progress, and a better technical roadmap prompted the bank to revise its outlook.

Standard Chartered's Head of Digital Assets Research Geoffrey Kendrick raised the analysts' ETH projections for 2026, 2027, and 2028 from $5,000 to $12,000, $6,000 to $18,000, and $7,500 to $25,000.

Since early June, Ethereum treasury businesses and spot ETFs have acquired 3.8% of the crypto's circulating supply, twice as rapidly as comparable organizations have bought Bitcoin.

These ETH treasury businesses, headed by BitMine Immersion (BMNR) and SharpLink Gaming (SBET), have collected 2.3 million ETH in the previous 10 weeks, with ETH ETFs contributing half.

Trump's July approval of the stablecoin-focused GENIUS Act is another motivator, according to the UK banking behemoth. The analysis estimated a $2 trillion market valuation for stablecoins by 2028, since they account for 40% of blockchain fees.

Coinglass data shows $255.86 million in Ethereum futures liquidations in the previous 24 hours, including $62.12 million and $193.74 million in long and short liquidations.

Since breaching over the top border of a multi-year symmetrical wedge, ETH has rallied beyond $4,500 barrier and is currently less than $200 from its all-time high of $4,868, according to Binance statistics. If the top cryptocurrency breaks its all-time high resistance and remains above it, it might surge to $7,500 in the coming months, a goal calculated by projecting the symmetrical wedge height upward.
