Bitcoin Nears $119K Value, Ethereum Hits Half-Year High: Cryptocurrency Update

Despite a recent dip to under $116,000, Bitcoin has rebounded and is now hovering around $119,000. This recovery follows a historic rise last week when Bitcoin broke through the $110,000 upper boundary and reached a new all-time high of over $123,000. However, Bitcoin's dominance over other cryptocurrencies has lessened to 61.7% as many altcoins, led by Ethereum, have seen significant gains.

Ethereum has surged by over 6% and now stands at over $3,150—its highest value in more than five months. Other altcoins, including LINK, SHIB, TON, PEPE, AAVE, and TAO, have also seen similar increases. Consequently, the total cryptocurrency market capitalization has risen by approximately $100 billion since yesterday, reaching $3.830 trillion.
