Mary-Catherine Lader, President and COO of Uniswap Labs, has stepped down after four years with the company. She joined Uniswap in 2021 from BlackRock, becoming one of the first senior figures from traditional finance to enter the crypto space. Lader will remain in an advisory role before moving on to her next venture. During her tenure, she helped professionalize Uniswap and led the company through a $165 million funding round in 2022. In February 2025, the U.S. SEC closed an investigation into Uniswap with no enforcement action, concluding a regulatory challenge that began in April 2024.
