According to BlockBeats, Thailand's Finance Minister, Pichet, announced on Monday that the country is contemplating implementing zero tariffs on more U.S. imports. This consideration comes as part of efforts to mitigate the impact of tariffs. During a business seminar, Pichet revealed that the government has also prepared soft loans worth 200 billion baht (approximately $6.1 billion) to address the tariff challenges.

Thailand faces the possibility of a 36% tariff from Washington if an agreement is not reached by August 1. The move to consider zero tariffs is seen as a strategic response to ongoing trade tensions.
