How to climb the Irys ladder and earn top roles - based on real exp. from top members

So I asked over 100 people in the @irys_xyz how they got their high ranks.

Spoiler: everyone had a different journey, but a lot of their answers pointed to the same core moves that actually work.

Phase 1: Getting Started [How to stop lurking and start moving]

Step 1:

Join your regional Irys community - like the Russian, Spanish, or Indian channels.

Start connecting with people there early.

It’s easier to make friends when you share a language or vibe.

Step 2:

Start posting on X (Twitter), even simple tweets or threads.

It helps others notice you and builds your presence in the ecosystem.

Step 3:

Grind for the Deshi role

This one’s key.

Once you get it, you unlock hidden Discord channels that only Deshis can see.

It’s like entering the real dojo.

Step 4:

Share your work in the Deshi-only channels

Post memes, threads, videos, or anything valuable.

This is where a lot of the team and OGs actually hang out - you want them to see your stuff.

Phase 2: Standing Out (aka how to level up to Shinan)

Now that you’ve entered the inner circle, what’s next?

Step 5:

Get creative

Draw art, make memes, music, edits or even build tools.

Anything that shows your personality + contributes to Irys helps you shine.

Doesn’t need to be perfect - just real.

Step 6:

Make meaningful connections

Talk with the team, engage with top

Yappers, or just find people you click with.

You’re not farming alone - the community is the shortcut to everything.

Step 7:

Help newcomers

Guide fresh users, explain how roles work, or teach them what “programmable data” means in simple terms.

When you help others grow, the community notices.

So does the team.
