I have saved some amount of Bitcoin over the years when I was doing well financially and of course it had appreciated.

Later on I was unable to save money, and actually fell on a debt spiral, nowadays I have a couple of annoying credit cards and one personal loan.

I could just kill them all by selling a (big) part of my holdings, or I could ride the debts (and their interest) with the expectation of Bitcoin's appreciation.

What are your thoughts on situations like this?

Pay off the debts immediately and restack with what have been your interest payments. Don't play around with credit card debt, it'll eat you alive.
