On May 29, OFAC sanctioned Philippines-based Funnull Technology Inc. and its administrator Liu Lizhi for aiding “pig butchering” scams that defrauded U.S. victims of over $200 million. Funnull allegedly purchased IP addresses from global cloud providers and resold them to fraud operators to host scam platforms.
