Very controversial topic: If youâre not validating Web3 Game Nights & Crypto Twitter Spaces, youâre fueling a bot economy. I say this from experience. Iâve worked with countless teams and communities to host grassroots initiatives. I urge community leads and sponsors to do their due diligence, because rewarding bots drains the value youâre trying to create and pushes away your most genuine, active members when they catch on. Last year, we discovered and banned members of a Discord group farming nearly every major community game night. They were running 40+ accounts across multiple identities and capturing as much as 50%+ of the rewards. And donât even get me started on Twitter Spaces. Theyâre laughably easy to spot, yet sponsors keep burning money on them. Validation for is simple: scroll to the bottom. If you see an excessive number of âOther listeners,â it usually means a ton of accounts are listening without signing in, and it's a telltale sign of botting. Lastly: the more you give away, the more you need to validate. Big incentives often attract the wrong crowd. Keep it fun. Reward the real ones. Stay safe out there, and donât get your community ruined by bots.

This is the biggest problem for Web3 crypto gaming communities and creators. Weâre too Web3 for Web2 brands, and too Web3 for Web3 games pivoting to Web2 creators, even though we have bigger communities and better conversions. Are we cooked, Chat?

yapyo butt off everyone! Month 1 of Arbitrumâs Kaito leaderboard is almost done, and Yapyo just posted theirs. Iâm currently sitting top 20 for Arbitrum and top 50 for Yapyo. Crazy considering that I mostly post about web3 gaming, not crypto. Over $100k in $ARB prizes up for grabs, and who knows how Yapyo will do. Not sure how the Kaito algo fully works, but it feels like it rewards early conviction and community engagement on your posts. Iâve been liking and replying to everyone who tags me, and following people who engage my content. InfoFi is just getting started. LFYap
