According to Foresight News, RippleX, the developer of the XRP Ledger, has announced the release of version 2.5.0. This update introduces several new features, including TokenEscrow for token custody, Batch for grouped transactions, and a compliant decentralized exchange named PermissionedDEX. Additionally, the update enhances transaction relay logic, network I/O capacity, and the accuracy of multi-signature simulations. XRPL Commons has also been added as a new Bootstrap cluster. The protocol changes will take effect after receiving support from over 80% of trusted validators for two weeks.
