Options on US Stocks & ETFs

Do more than buy and hold. Take a view in either direction, or receive premium for taking on option obligations on stocks and cash you already hold - each carries its own risks. Available on 1000+ US stocks & ETFs.
If you're buying

A view in either direction, with a defined cost

Up or down
Calls if you're bullish, puts if you're bearish.
More for less
One contract gives you exposure to 100 shares at a fraction of the cost.
Capped downside when you buy
If you buy an option, the most you can lose is the premium you pay.
If you're selling

Receive premium for taking on an obligation

Premium received
When you sell an option, you receive the premium in exchange for taking on an obligation if the option is assigned.
Covered calls
Sell a call on shares you already own. If assigned, you deliver your shares at the strike price - giving up any upside above it.
Cash-secured puts
Set aside the full strike price to sell a put. If assigned, you buy the shares at the strike price - and you may lose more than the premium you receive.

Spread: For orders above 350 USD, the minimum platform fee is waived and a 5 bps (0.05%) spread applies instead (e.g. a 400 USDC order → 0.2 USDC). ADR fee: ADRs may charge 0.01–0.03 USD per share, typically once or twice a year, deducted automatically from your Funding Account. Account maintenance: No maintenance, inactivity, or custody fees are currently charged. Other costs may apply, such as currency conversion, regulatory fees, dividend-related charges, and taxes. For full details, see our fee schedule here. "

An option is a contract on a stock or ETF that gives you the right to buy or sell it at a set price (the strike), on or before a set expiration date. A call is the right to buy; a put is the right to sell. How people use them: • Bullish on a stock? Buy a call. • Expect it to fall? Buy a put. • Already hold the stock? Sell a call to earn a premium. • Have cash and want to buy lower? Sell a put to earn a premium.
