Entire crypto market is still smaller than some individual stonks...
Trump wants interest rates 200+ bps lower and should get his way within the next 18 months in one way or another...
Bears are miserable and unwholesome creatures...
So... until the bull market resumes, we keep:
-Stacking good alts (I like $AAVE, $SYRUP, $PENDLE, $GS, and some others... and un-ironically even $ETH and $SOL at these prices) -Farming good airdrops -Stacking $BTC -Stacking $QQQ (Boomer ponzi savings account) -Getting jackeder -Getting tanneder
It boggles my mind that the Treasury Secretary of the United States is talking about stablecoins 15x'ing in size over the next 5 years...
Yet there are seriously people out there saying "No, no... I don't think I want any exposure to that asset class..."
Like this isn't even contrarian anymore its literally just not being a complete curmudgeonly moron who refuses to embrace what's smacking them in the face every day...
Yet in 5 years there will be all sorts of people who refused to invest in crypto who complain about all the lucky "cryptobros" who built massive wealth as a result of it...
Feels like CT has bear market PTSD and has forgotten how to dream.
I honestly think we're going way higher than anyone thinks- including alts- and that we'll have 20+ defi tokens worth at least $10B by the end of this cycle.
- Looking at shorting oil via CL/USD on @OstiumLabs (actually talked with Claude about this in depth and was utterly fascinating - first time I've really used AI to help me with a trade and was extremely helpful in thinking through some of the more byzantine details of it and making sure I wasn't overlooking anything that would make doing so a bad way to express the thesis)
- Downloaded @kippermoney from @QuaiNetwork finally, as well as the main $QUAI wallet (very gud stuff!)
- Gonna try to hop on @ethos_network later today and play around some more...
- Checked on Kaito and am currently ranking on the Frax, Quai, and Mantle Yapperboards (need to start researching + writing about some more of these pre-TGE projects on there as I really like Kaito and the whole model of it even if it does lead to some spam on here and etc obviously)
- Gonna try to do a workout on the beach later today in the spirit of thalassocratic statue-larping 💪
Brief check-in with my good bros at @vertex_protocol...
1) APY's for $VRTX-stakers have been ranging between 25-50% or so...
2) $6.475B in 30 days perps volume (#7 as per DefiLlama)
3) Am seeing a lot of talk about @katana on the TL, so brief reminder that Vertex will be joining the party there as well!
4) Katana is the next chain towards their goal of 25+ EVM chains...
I very much like this (the 25+ chains thing, I mean)...
Issa kind of a Campbellian 'Heroes Journey' - they had to enter the cave (prolonged bear market) and now they slay the dragon (omnichain ascendance) and in so doing reach perps apotheosis :)
Another coin I own and am very bullish on is $AAVE.
Is probably my 6th or 7th biggest position right now.
There's all the obvious reasons to invest in it that everyone knows - its by far the most representative and impressive and best example of defi as a whole imo- but I think the real question has been just how much asymmetry there is in it...
It has consistently been in the top 100 for years now, so what factors could push it higher compared to say crypto overall? or what makes it a better bet vs just $BTC or $ETH or etc?
I think right now there are three:
1) defi is finally getting its day in the sun due to the massive shift in the regulatory zeitgeist (as we saw from that SEC thread the other day) and $AAVE is- again- the most representative and best example of defi currently
2) its very possible Aave could flip Circle (USDC) in TVL this year... this sounds wild but its literally at $44B right now vs $61B of circulating $USDC...
3) it seems like it will be one of the first recipients of an ETF (likely after $SOL, $XRP, and maybe at most 1-2 others)
So yeah... I like $AAVE a lot here for its own merits and as a general bet on defi... way better than $LINK or $UNI for instance... and if I was going to be allocating more capital it would be one of my top choices right now...
Could legitimately see scenarios where it becomes a top 10 coin eventually...
Zoomers will never know how good things used to be...
There was this brief, beautiful period of time where the entire IRL economy ran off Craigslist...
Needed a job? Craigslist... Wanted to buy a house? Craigslist... Rent an apartment? Craigslist... Buy a car or truck? Craigslist... Buy a 200k piece of heavy machinery? Craigslist... Buy a $2M EBITDA HVAC business? Craigslist... Wanted to find a local club of hikers or tennis players or fly-fishing enthusiasts? Craigslist... Wanted to buy some Bitcoin-miners? Craigslist... Homemade crafts and grass-fed beef and Mennonite-made raspberry pies? Craigslist... For a couple years even prostitutes were advertising on it...
Was an incredibly valuable thing man... we really had no idea just how blessed we were...
Think one of the toughest positions to be in over next few years is an American white-collar 9-5 employee with very little asset exposure.
Think they're gonna see a perfect storm of massive job cuts + asset prices absolutely soaring.
Bright spot is there is more opportunity than ever before online (freelancing, digital marketing, social media, crypto, etc), however you're competing against the whole world on even-footing, and you don't get any automatic advantage just because you live in Portland or Minneapolis or etc.
There's also incredible opportunity in blue-collar world in the US (ie guys in roofing sales making 300k per year and hourly handymen charging $160/hr), but that same 9-5 office worker in Portland or Minneapolis probably thinks such stuff is beneath them (or would like to do it but is intimidated by it).
And then asset prices soaring is also a bright spot if you're exposed to those assets, but again- if you're 40 years old and you have a net worth of $0 because you've always spent your high W2 income on DoorDash and 2-3 expensive vacations per year, and you suddenly lose your job, then you don't have any exposure to those surges in asset prices, so you are losing ground against everyone who does.
And this is just the US, I don't want to think about the same situation in Toronto or Melbourne man... good god...
Alright ya'll... so here are three more great airdrop resources...
These are all pretty big/popular accounts and etc, but I've had a number of people dm me lately asking for advice on airdrop stuff, so wanted to highlight these for anyone who isn't already following them...
- @KryptoCove - best airdrop-focused channel on YouTube
- @MingoAirdrop - fantastic airdrop-focused account here on Twitter/X
- @Earndrop_io - a great airdrop resource from @OlimpioCrypto that posts airdrop threads every week full of links to checkers and etc so you can make sure you don't miss any, access those airdrops you do qualify for, etc
Will link to something from each of them in subsequent tweets below!

Anyway friends hope you are all doing well and having a wonderful Sunday!
- Seeing discussion about taking @fraxfinance public via SPAC or IPO, including from founder @samkazemian, and what this would mean for the $FRAX token... very interesting...
- @ethos_network Season 1 starting... trying to determine how much time to allocate to this... as always just too much cool stuff going on and never enough hours in the day!
- Trying to rank higher on the @Mantle_Official Yapperboard... also I seem to be ranking decent for Kaito overall board and $QUAI board as well, so that is very cool...
- Haven't talked a ton about $PENDLE lately but remain super bullish on everything going on with them as well (Boros, etc)...
- Very interested to see if this Circle price action post-IPO leads to any kind of re-pricing of top defi blue-chips like $AAVE, $SYRUP, the aforementioned $PENDLE, etc... (certainly seems like it should)...
But yeah, will paste some info on all of the above in subsequent tweets!

Anyway, keep putting in the reps lads... before you know it crypto will be at $10T total market cap and we'll all be jacked, tan, wealthy, and wise 💪
-Research and potentially sign up for wallchain_xyz and glympsedotfun + login into ethos_network and do more stuff on it
-Deposit more into @upshift_fi Hyperbeat vault to increase HyperEVM exposure and earn more Upshift points
-Research Caldera and other Kaito pre-TGE projects
-Geek out on FogoChain, fragmetric, tradeparadex, and a bunch of others on my list...
-Deposit more into LLP + trade more on Lighter and same with OLP + trading on Ostium
-Deposit more into @TradeNeutral
-Look for potential testnets to mess around with (I know Soul Protocol was one but not sure if that phase is ongoing or has finished... gotta check on this...)
-Go over recent airdrops and make sure I didn't miss any (probably using @Earndrop_io threads from the great @OlimpioCrypto
-Bunch of other stuff

The bull market lock-in mode continues lads 💪
Please RT if you enjoy + plz gib ideas of other stuff to check out 🙏
So I found the news that Arbitrum is starting a Kaito campaign quite interesting...
I have very positive + nostalgic feelings towards Arbitrum...
Primarily due to the $ARB airdrop... and just those halcyon $GMX/Blueberry/Dopex days of yesteryear in general :)
And I know many others feel the same, so is very cool they'll be incentivizing discussion of the chain via this campaign...
Also is another big W for Kaito, I must say...
But yeah, thought it would be a good opportunity to take a look at what is going on with Arbitrum these days!
Checking in with our beloved @DefiLlama, we can see that Arbitrum...
-Is currently the 7th biggest chain (and 2nd largest L2 after Base)
-Has $3.6B TVL
-Has seen TVL growth of +18.40% over the last month (vs +26.73% for ETH Mainnet and +13.77% for Solana, for comparison)
And the 12 largest protocols on Arbitrum currently are:
1. Aave 2. GMX 3. Uniswap 4. Compound 5. Fluid 6. Stables Labs USDX 7. Franklin Templeton (RWA) 8. Spiko (RWA) 9. Dolomite 10. Ostium (who I wrote about recently on this series) 11. Camelot 12. Pendle
I had not checked on the above list for awhile so was quite surprised to see the two RWA projects on it...
But yeah, Arbitrum is giving out 400,000 $ARB tokens (around $160,000 USD currently) over 3 months for the campaign, so will be interesting to watch the results...
And if you are Yap-maxxing hardcore is probably a great candidate for doing so 💪

But yeah once again ya'll I am trying to do an extra little daily diary thing as the bull market heats up!
We are at $3.5T total crypto market cap right now and I firmly believe we'll hit $10T by the end of 2027, and I want to be as locked-in as possible for it :)
Please RT if you enjoy!
And hit me up with anything/everything I should check out next!
Am normally quite zealous about staying on top of my notifications so I don't miss comments or other important stuff but with Twitter/X getting all glitchy this week I feel like I might have missed things...
If I did and was important plz dm me!
And keep hitting them reps we must get swole tan powerful for the 200k $BTC party LFG!!!! 💪💪💪💪💪
1) Do not forget to input your Solana address on Kaito!
I have seen a number of very smart accounts + Kaito-connected folks + the Kaito account itself explicitly tweet about this the last few days, so would assume there is some Kaito-related airdrop coming on Solana for $KAITO-stakers or Yappers or etc, and you don't want to miss it by not having your Solana address inputted (which is apparently still the case with quite a high % of accounts, according to the Kaito tweet about it)...
2) Wanted to once again highly encourage you to follow the following three folks:
- @sandraaleow - absolute S-Tier daily alfa, and graciously answered my question about the above via dm (was on 'inputting' vs 'linking' wallets in the Kaito UX - and it is 'inputting' your Solana address you need to do)...
- @0xGeeGee - I have recommended following GeeGee before but wanted to once again as the alfa is literally off the charts... one of the few accounts whose tweets and replies I read religiously every day... + include in The Daily Degen probably 15+ times per month lately...
- @DidiTrading - same thing, just absolutely insane levels of locked-inedness + value on airdrops and similar stuff, and his daily posting series is partially what inspired me to start doing this series a couple weeks ago... another one I explicitly read every single tweet from daily...
All the above folks deserve 10x the followers they currently have so make sure to check them out! 💪
What is the most dopaminergic yield source you currently farm in crypto? Or have ever farmed in crypto?
For me, I would say:
1) Early 2021 Pancakeswap $CAKE staking... where you could see the yield rolling in in real time... oh my god was like crypto heroin man...
2) Trader Joe LP'ing in 2022 from @cryptofishx and crew... where they had those great sound effects... absolutely loved it...
3) LP'ing in the gardens on Defi Kingdoms... with the gamification... not to mention the insanely high yields (think I got in when a lot of the best pairs were still like 500%)... god that was fun...
4) GLP on GMX in the early days... was great because you were directionally long like 50% or so but also had stablecoin exposure (as it was 50% stablecoins too)... and the yields were just sky-high... and every day or two you could hop on and compound your earnings... was just exquisite...
But yeah - what else am I forgetting? And what is the most dopaminergic yield source today?

Once again lads the crypto diary continues now that we are on our bull market arc....
