Here's ChatGPT's comparsion of the all-in cost of an international purchase on Shopify using traditional methods vs. the new stablecoin approach. It's flagging a 60%-80% savings.
1/ Thesis: Bitcoin can make a portfolio less risky.
In a recent CIO Memo, I explained what all the “bitcoin in portfolio” studies get wrong and explore how most of my peers actually build their personal portfolios.
Recently joined @ProofOfThoughtX, hosted by @CharlesOdeiiii and @Braddendum, for the debut episode to discuss corporate treasuries, crypto ETFs, and why stablecoins will play a major role in U.S. debt.

Spent the past few days at the annual conference of a major advisory firm. Some take-aways:
> The "big unlock" is happening for financial advisors. I suspect every major advisory firm will have the ability to invest in crypto ETPs by year-end.
> The level of interest in crypto is very high. Inflows will be measured in the many billions.
> 5% is the new 1% for portfolio allocations.
> There is interest in both bitcoin and ethereum. I fielded more ethereum questions in the past few days than the past six months.
I'm now heading to Consensus in Toronto. It will be interesting to see if the vibes are as bullish at a crypto conference as they were at this event.
