The CTF (Capture The Flag) MOVEment security competition organized by MoveBit and Aptos and sponsored by Aptos will be held from 10:00 on December 11 to 10:00 on December 13 (UTC+8). The competition is co-organized by Aptos, MoveBit, ChainFlag, AptosGlobal, etc. and sponsored by Aptos.

This CTF MOVEment security competition is the first event in the Move ecosystem with the theme of Aptos ecosystem security. As the public chain leading the Move ecosystem, Aptos has made innovations in consensus, smart contract design, system security, performance and decentralization, and has attracted a large number of developers and entrepreneurs around the world to use the Move language to develop and create applications in the Aptos ecosystem.

However, Move developers currently lack security programming knowledge, and Aptos ecosystem developers need more security knowledge and improved security awareness. Therefore, Aptos, MoveBit, ChainFlag and OtterSec, together with Aptos Global and many other Apots ecosystem parties, with Aptos as the exclusive sponsor, jointly organized the first Aptos ecosystem security-themed competition CTF MOVEment.

The CTF MOVEment safety competition will be held online, with registration and sign-up, and the competition time is 48 hours. This CTF MOVEment will set up 3-4 Move-related safety challenges, and the difficulty of the competition questions will be different. Completing different challenges will earn corresponding points, and the top four contestants with the shortest time for each challenge will receive additional points.

The top three contestants with the highest points will receive rewards of 1,000 USD, 500 USD, and 300 USD respectively prepared by Aptos. In addition, the top three contestants will receive a mysterious NFT, and all contestants who complete more than one Move security challenge will be minted with CTF MOVEment POAP NFT.
