Bitcoin faces decline after publication of US employment data
Bitcoin experienced a rapid fall this Friday morning (7) after the publication of US employment data. In a matter of 15 minutes, the cryptocurrency went from US$72,000 to US$70,600, losing around US$1,400 and pausing its gains.
According to information from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), around 272,000 jobs were created, although this is good news, it also shows that the American economy remains strong even with interest rates at their highest level since the year 2000.
