Transak officially announced its integration with the high-performance Layer 1 blockchain Monad, supporting the purchase and exchange of its native token MON through traditional payment methods. This collaboration provides users with seamless access to the Monad ecosystem, further promoting the adoption of decentralized finance (DeFi) and encouraging active participation from developers on this chain.
Monad is a brand new EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain, capable of processing over 10,000 transactions per second with sub-second transaction finality, aimed at supporting high-frequency DeFi, gaming, and other decentralized applications without relying on Layer 2. Since its mainnet launch on November 24, the MON token market has been active, with stablecoin inflows exceeding $120 million within 24 hours, reflecting strong community and capital interest.
Through this integration, global users can directly use credit cards, bank transfers, and multiple local payment methods to purchase MON on Transak, significantly simplifying the conversion process from fiat to crypto assets. Transak, as a leading payment facility serving over 10 million users, has connected with more than 450 blockchain applications and wallets. This integration was completed simultaneously with the launch of the Monad mainnet, bringing immediate user onboarding channels and liquidity to its ecosystem.
Jack Bushell, Sales Director at Transak, stated: "Integrating on the first day of Monad's mainnet launch allows us to provide an unobstructed entry point for this most innovative blockchain. We are excited to offer a convenient purchasing avenue for MON to global users right away."
Harry Alford, Head of Business Development at Monad Foundation, pointed out: "Integrations like Transak are crucial for expanding the accessibility of Monad and MON through traditional payment channels. It significantly lowers the participation threshold, helping more users and builders join our ecosystem."
This collaboration injects strong momentum into the Monad ecosystem, accelerating the influx of users and funds, while also providing developers with more convenient financial infrastructure to build applications, further solidifying Monad's competitiveness in the high-performance blockchain arena.
