Nasdaq-listed Upexi (UPXI), which focuses heavily on its digital asset treasury, has reported a record fiscal first quarter for 2026. This remarkable performance is mostly due to about $78 million in unrealized gains from its Solana (SOL) holdings. For the quarter that ended on September 30, 2025, Upexi revealed a net income of $66.7 million, a significant improvement from a net loss in the same period last year. Total revenue for the quarter reached $9.2 million, with more than $6 million generated from digital asset operations, mainly from staking income. CEO Allan Marshall mentioned that the firm’s strategy of holding and staking Solana directly on its balance sheet has transformed its treasury into a productive, revenue-generating asset. The company has effectively established itself as a key player in the industry, becoming the second-largest public Solana treasury company. The unrealized gains underline Upexi's adept handling of the fluctuating crypto markets and its smart approach to capital markets, which involves acquiring locked SOL at a discount. This success shows how traditional companies can take advantage of digital assets for substantial financial gain.
