Binance has detected over 600 fraudulent accounts using tools or bot farms to farm Alpha points or claim airdrops incorrectly.
→ This shows that they are tightening the Alpha Points / Airdrop reward system to avoid mass farming.
2. Current actions:
• All suspicious accounts are permanently banned.
• Rewards such as Alpha Points, Airdrop, or task rewards are all being reclaimed (claw back).
3. New policy (very important):
• Binance has opened an internal reporting channel, encouraging users to report fraud.
• The first whistleblower can receive up to 50% of the amount Binance reclaims from the fraudulent account.
→ For example: if the fraudulent farming account is reclaimed $1,000, the correct reporter may receive up to $500.
4. Implications for genuine Alpha users:
• Those who play fairly, perform manual tasks, and do not use tools will be protected.
• But those who use scripts, auto, duplicate proxies, or farming tools may be detected and banned by the system at any time.
• Need to secure accounts, do not share IP / devices / wallets with others.
5. In the long run:
Binance is transforming Alpha into a testing platform for Web3, DeFi, and SocialFi features, so they want to maintain a genuine and quality community instead of those who just "farm and withdraw".
