Former Premier League striker Fabio Borini has joined League Two side Salford City, who are owned by David Beckham and Gary Neville. The 34-year-old, who previously represented Chelsea, Liverpool, and Sunderland, scored 16 goals in 111 top-flight games. The one-time Italy international, who was a free agent after leaving Serie B side Sampdoria in July, has now signed a short-term deal with Salford after training with the club.
