📖 QUICK CRYPTO FUTURES DICTIONARY

Term Definition in 1 line

- Crossed vs. Isolated:

* Crossed: uses ALL your balance as margin (total risk): Isolated: only the order gets liquidated Isolated = helmet, crossed = going without a helmet

- Leverage Gain/loss multiplier; 10x = 1 % price = 10 % gain or loss 5x = rises 2 % → you gain 10 %; falls 2 % → you lose 10 %

- Stop-Loss: Order that CLOSES your position at an automatic loss to limit risk Set it right after opening the position

- Take-Profit: Order that CLOSES your position at an automatic gain «I cash out and protect» without looking at the screen

- Japanese Candles Each candle = open, high, low, close of the period; body = difference, wick = extremes

* Long green candle = buys; red with long wick above = possible rejection

- Bollinger: 3 lines: average ± 2 deviations → volatility channel. Price touching upper band = possible over-buying; lower = under-selling «Bounce on the band» = frequent signal

- EMA (Exponential Moving Average): Average that gives more weight to recent prices. EMA 12 crossing above 26 = bullish signal; inverse = bearish The line closest to the price = quick reaction

- RSI: Oscillator 0-100; >70 = over-buying, <30 = under-selling; divergence = reversal signal RSI dropping while price is rising = bearish divergence

- Volume: Amount of coins traded in the period. No volume → no strength Green candle + increasing volume = confirms rise

- Entry : Exact price where you open the position Written plan: “I enter at 1h when EMA 12 crosses above 26 and RSI <70”

Signal: Event that validates your plan: crossing, bounce, support break DO NOT enter without a signal → avoid FOMO
