I know that there are people who enter trades and make high profits and leave them for a long time, but go ask them if all your trades are profitable, they will surely say no. Each person is limited by their capital, so when I say to close the trade at any reasonable profit, I don't mean to waste your high profit, but it’s for your benefit.
I used to open trades and leave them for days, but with the profit comes the loss, and in many currencies, believe me, at one moment you might be winning, and then you find yourself losing.
I was in a trade that I had opened for profit, I left the phone to make tea, and when I returned, I found that I was liquidated. I showed you earlier a trade where I was winning $120, and because of my greed and stubbornness, I closed it with a profit of $3. Can you imagine?
Do you see the total losses in this picture? Not a single trade among them was one where I wasn't winning, but I always wanted more, so the trade would turn against me, and I would leave it until I had two options: either close the trade or leave the trade until it gets liquidated. So why didn't I enter, for example, a hedge or reinforce the trade? Because I was trading with a leverage of x150. If I entered a reinforcement trade, I would find the liquidation price at that moment greeting me, and if I entered a hedge, I would be escaping from a long position and falling into a short one, and all of this was due to the high leverage. So when I warn about something more than once, it's because it's something I have experienced, and I don't want anyone to go through it.
