JPMorgan Chief: Fed Rates in Question, Stablecoins on the Rise

🔺 JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon stated that the Fed is unlikely to continue lowering rates without a slowdown in inflation. Currently, the rate is 'stuck' around 3%, and in his opinion, there are more factors for growth than for decline.

📉 Fed Rate

On September 17, the regulator lowered the rate for the first time since 2024 — to 4–4.25%. The market anticipates two more cuts in October and December.

🤑 Stablecoins

Dimon spoke positively about 'stablecoins':

🔴 investors may prefer them over the banking system,

🔴 banks are discussing launching their own token,

🔴 JPMorgan is already working with stablecoins.

📊 Inflation in the USA — 2.9% (August), which is above the target of 2%.
