What is altseasion and how it’s happening 1. Accumulation phase • Whales (big holders of altcoins) collect investor dollars. • Instead of keeping it in their own altcoin, they rotate most of the liquidity into BTC. 2. BTC pump phase • Bitcoin rises strongly, attracting attention from retail traders. • Many alts stagnate or even bleed against BTC during this stage. • Whales ride the BTC wave, taking profits. 3. Rotation into alts • Once BTC dominance peaks, whales rotate their profits back into their own altcoins. • This creates huge pumps in alts, often starting with mid-caps and then trickling into smaller coins. • Retail traders see green candles and rush in at different price levels. 4. Distribution phase (altseason peak) • Whales dump their inflated altcoins onto retail buyers. • Early buyers might profit, late buyers usually get trapped. 5. Crash and bottoming • Altcoins lose 70–90% from their peaks. • Whales don’t care—they already took profit and still hold unsold bags for the next cycle. • New liquidity (fresh money from retail) is needed before the next round begins. 👉 In short: • BTC pumps first, then liquidity rotates into alts. • Altseason = whales recycling BTC profits into alts and letting retail chase the hype. • After the distribution, altcoins crash until the next major rotation. $XRP also same the owner take our USD amd invest in $BTC or $ETH and earning big but we are stupid 100billion coin cant cross 5$
