Shorting WLFI at the current price, it's peak upon launch, still profiting from shorting

After WLFI announced the circulation of tokens on September 1st, various exchanges started offering futures contracts. Currently, OK and another exchange have price differences that allow for risk-free arbitrage.

After much consideration, I chose to short at the current price, with plans to gradually increase my position later. The WLFI team raised 300 million USD (2 billion tokens) at a price of 0.015 in January this year, and then raised another 250 million USD (500 million tokens) at a price of 0.05 in March. This TGE allows for 20% unlock. 20% means 500 million tokens, with a large number of profits!

However, the founder and partner team will still have their chips locked. For example, one individual named Sun bought a total of 75 million USD (i.e., 500 million WLFI) in the early stages, and as a project advisor, his 500 million tokens will not be unlocked in the first batch. Therefore, on the first day of WLFI’s launch, the circulating supply will be less than 4 billion tokens. Excluding other team shares, the actual circulating supply may be less than 3 billion tokens. Although the actual circulation is much lower than expected, there are too many public offerings for retail investors, and at this level, FDV has multiple market makers, making it impossible for a single institution to control the market. The visible upper limit is not high for me, and I firmly hold my short position for further updates.

Those holding spot positions might be crying in the toilet.

Decisively shorting.
