Somnia is an EVM-compatible blockchain network targeting the construction of a large-scale entertainment/gaming economy, focusing on scalability and low transaction costs. The mainnet and SOMI token were launched today, September 2, 2025, after a long testing phase that saw billions of transactions on the testnet, the joining of about 60 validators (including Google Cloud), and integrations with LayerZero, Thirdweb, and others.
