On August 29th, Coinglass data revealed significant market liquidations. Over the past four hours, a total of $179 million was liquidated across the entire cryptocurrency network. This included $133 million in long positions and $458.989 million in short positions being liquidated.
Expanding the timeframe to the last 24 hours, the figures are even more substantial. Globally, 143,438 traders experienced liquidations, amounting to a total of $546 million. The single largest liquidation order occurred on the OKX exchange, involving the BTC-USDT-SWAP pair, with a value of $4.3838 million.
