Is Treehouse currently the most stable DeFi tool in the market?
The focus is on structure, not gimmicks.
Treehouse has done two very simple but important things:
tAssets: It packages various on-chain yields into fixed-rate notes, allowing you to lock in profits without needing to understand strategies;
DOR: It created an on-chain interest rate reference, similar to asking 'What is the current interest rate?' when borrowing money, you can now ask this 'Libor on-chain'.
How is the market responding? As of early August, the tETH liquidity pool was nearly at its peak in just one day, with TVL soaring to over a hundred million; the response in the Hong Kong and Taiwan markets was explosive, and after South Korea regulated exchanges, prices increased by 150%. This indicates that people indeed need such a stable income tool.
There are risks as well: prices may drop significantly in the short term (due to airdrop selling pressure), and it also depends on whether people are willing to 'price with DOR'. However, if you want to add a stable windfall to your asset allocation, Treehouse definitely deserves your initial attention.
