🌱 Blockchain helped avoid 394 million tons of CO₂

The companies Arx Veritas and Blubird achieved a world record by tokenizing environmental projects that prevent the release of polluting gases. Thanks to this blockchain technology, oil wells have been blocked and coal mines closed, which represents 394 million tons of CO₂ avoided.

To understand the magnitude: this is equivalent to 395 million flights between New York and London or 105 times the annual emissions of Iceland.
