According to Foresight News, the Ethereum Foundation released Protocol Update 003, improving user experience and outlining a multi-track roadmap that makes Ethereum feel 'like a chain again,' and published a protocol update prioritizing faster confirmations, trust-minimized cross-chain interactions, as well as new user experiences and privacy tools on the second-largest cryptocurrency blockchain. The plan introduces three workflows, named 'Initialization,' 'Acceleration,' and 'Completion,' and announces deliverables and target dates extending to 2026.

Under the initialization process, the Ethereum Foundation (EF) engineers and ecosystem team are launching an Open Intents Framework, allowing users to express desired outcomes. Additionally, developers have proposed an Ethereum interoperability layer designed to facilitate trustless transactions across Layer 2 networks and established a set of standards aimed at reducing friction.
