Recently studying a quite interesting project — @overtake_world, their token $TAKE just launched on Binance Alpha a few days ago and the TGE performance was very impressive.
It is a game asset trading market based on Sui, which means it allows players to actually own and trade their skins and items, rather than having everything reset when a Web2 game shuts down.
They launched a trading incentive event today, and the mechanism is designed quite professionally:
The event starts on August 29 at 10:00 AM UTC, and each week 100,000 tokens of $TAKE will be allocated as a reward pool, which will be split among the top 100 effective traders.
It is important to note that participation eligibility is not solely based on trading volume; you also need to complete the staking of $TAKE and bind both a Sui wallet and an EVM wallet. After that, all buying and selling activities on PancakeSwap (whether buying or selling) will count towards the total trading volume and will be ranked based on USD value. Rewards will be distributed to the Sui wallet within 7 days after the end of each cycle.
Compared to most “reward-heavy” events, OVERTAKE's rules emphasize fairness and continuous participation. Even small traders can receive a share of the rewards as long as they complete staking and trading, just like larger traders.
As a project led by a Korean team, it has strong expectations from Korea. Everyone knows that launching in Korea is currently the biggest advantage, and the price movements can be very aggressive.
Moreover, I feel this event is more like OVERTAKE practicing its token economic logic: driving income through real trading demand, and then forming a long-term value loop through buybacks and incentives. I recommend everyone to try this new mechanism; it feels like it can perform well.
