My first impression of BounceBit was that it was a kind of 'compromise', but later I realized it is more like a new balance point.
In the past few years, the people around me either completely trusted CeFi, handing their funds over to centralized institutions; or they immersed themselves in DeFi, chasing high yields but bearing extremely high risks. There seemed to be no middle ground between the two.
Until BounceBit appeared. It guarantees fund safety with a custodial layer while generating returns through on-chain strategies. Institutions can enter with peace of mind, and retail investors can still experience the vitality of DeFi. At that moment, I felt that finance was no longer binary, but began to have the possibility of integration.
I recalled a friend who experienced the collapse of FTX and was wary of CeFi; but he also had a liquidation experience in DeFi, making him more sensitive to risk. When he saw BounceBit's design, he was silent for a long time and said, 'If there had been such a model earlier, perhaps I wouldn't have been hurt on both sides.'
This made me realize that BounceBit is not just a financial product, but a psychological remedy. It builds a bridge between the two ends, giving more people the courage to enter again.
