🚨🇻🇪 The number of police officers killed in the helicopter accident in Colombia has risen to 12, reported the Director General of the National Police of the country, Carlos Triana.

"Today is a day of mourning for the National Police and for Colombia. Terrorism took the lives of 12 brave police officers and left four others injured. Our deepest condolences to their respected families, with the commitment to bring these criminals to justice," Triana wrote on his X account.

According to the president of the Latin American nation, Gustavo Petro, the recent attack near an airbase in the city of Cali may also be linked to the armed group Estado Mayor Central, responsible for bringing down the helicopter.
