The U.S. Department of Commerce announced its collaboration with both Chainlink and Pyth Network to publish Gross Domestic Product (GDP) data on-chain across several public blockchain networks, such as Ethereum, Base, Avalanche, and others.
This initiative marks the first use of this form of blockchain by a U.S. government to publish economic data, which may enhance the credibility of the network and attract investor interest.
