Voting on referendum #1721 is in progress, which will enable RFC103 features in the runtime of the relay chain. If the vote passes, the elastic scaling feature of the relay chain will officially be completed and launched on September 8th (Monday, around UTC time 8:00, corresponding to block #27677196)!
