Is Trump someone who never follows the script? But the market seems to have become numb; even the Federal Reserve seems to be 'manipulated' by him, with the S&P hitting new highs again—it's truly surreal.
Now Cook is actually suing Trump, and the Treasury Secretary directly jumps out to call out the Federal Reserve: 'What's happening inside? Shouldn't you investigate?' The next candidate for Federal Reserve Chair, Hassett, also said Cook should take a vacation to avoid the storm, not confront head-on. Even Yellen came out saying 'firing Cook is illegal and dangerous'—this is obviously from Biden's side!
But! The! Key! Is! The market seems to be completely unafraid. The US stock market is still rising, and Bitcoin has rebounded to over 113k. The most crucial thing is: Trump is now determined to take control of the Federal Reserve.
Regardless of whether the dollar will collapse in the long term, interest rates are likely to drop sharply in the medium and short term—once the expectation of liquidity injection comes, the crypto circle, which relies on liquidity and can resist dollar depreciation, will definitely benefit significantly!
However, we still need to be vigilant. Four-year cycle + US elections, if it's time to hedge in November, don't be stubborn. Can Trump's policies really lead the crypto circle out of a long bull market? I’m afraid we won’t know until March next year.
The most different thing in this round is that altcoins are really tough!
In the past bull markets, the crypto circle created its own events: ICOs, DeFi, launching chains with one click, we painted our own pies and ate them ourselves, with capital circulating within the circle.
But in this round, the momentum mostly comes from the outside—after the BTC spot ETF approval, a large amount of external funds only recognize Bitcoin and a very few coins that can latch onto mainstream narratives (like ETFs, Trump concepts, SEC compliance).
After March, the liquidity of altcoins has dropped to a ridiculous level, many coins have fallen so much that even their mothers wouldn't recognize them. Now, there are only two ways to make money: either hold the mainstream (BTC/ETH), or gamble on on-chain PvP (meme coins or small-cap games); projects in the middle—lacking resources and popularity—will directly cool off if they can't rise within a week on an exchange.
This is why I always say: only play the leaders in this round. In the past, whatever VC invested in, you could buy; going on Binance was basically a guaranteed profit. This round? Many Tier 1 VC-backed projects are still down 10 times! Because now it's not about how you paint the pie, but whether you have solid resources to get on the 'Trump bull market' train.
For example:
$TRUMP (Trump concept coin) directly listed on Huobi and Binance;
$WLFI (Trump's daughter supported) listed on Binance in seconds;
$DOLO (a direct project of WLFI) is not famous but can still land on Binance. Why? Because exchanges are now also 'riding the Trump trend', better to wrongfully kill than to miss out.
There’s another VC you must know: Founders Fund—Peter Thiel (Silicon Valley venture capital mogul, member of the PayPal mafia, former boss of current Vice President Pence). Whatever he invests in, Binance basically follows.
He is heavily betting on the RWA track and also controls:
$BMNR (holding over 1.7 million ETH, one of the largest crypto treasuries)
$ETHZILLA (the 10th largest ETH treasury, holding over 100,000 coins)
New favorite $XPL (10 times since ICO)
Other projects he invested in like $MAV, $TRU, $AVAIL... some have already listed on Binance, and some are highly likely to.
If you want to position for the next wave, you must pay attention to their investment list: ubyx, avanttis, polymarket (the one joined by Trump’s son), citrea, helius... these are likely to be favored by big firms.
So friends, don't cast your nets randomly in this round! Either stick to the leaders or dig into early projects with strong resource backgrounds; holding onto mid-tier coins for too long will really make you anxious.
Remember: the rhythm is external, the narrative is Trump. Whoever is close to power and capital can have a taste of the soup.
