Wake up! SHIB is not an investment at all, but a trap for harvesting retail investors!
I see many people asking whether SHIB can be invested in, so let me be straightforward.
SHIB was born at the peak of the last bull market, to put it simply, it came out riding the hype. It has no real utility, cannot store value, and has almost zero payment scenarios. Its only purpose is to facilitate trading—whoever trades pays fees to the exchange.
In short, cryptocurrencies have three legitimate uses: first is trading, second is payment, and third is value storage. Apart from that, everything else is illusory.
Why is Bitcoin the king of coins? Because it can both be used for payments and store money, and over the years, it has been the most stable, largest, and most successful blockchain application. It doesn't engage in flashy gimmicks, just focuses on doing “currency” well. Simple, hence enduring.
Look at other coins, especially those that gained popularity through “application concepts,” like Nokia and Kodak in their heyday; they seemed impressive, but once the industry changed, they were eliminated. In contrast, ancient industries like banking have survived for thousands of years. The simpler, the more enduring.
Which category does SHIB belong to? It is purely speculative. In this bull market, big players will not help those who are trapped from the last wave—launching a new coin is low cost, while rescuing an old coin comes with a high price.
Why does Musk promote Dogecoin? Because DOGE has been around for years, its price is low, and there are no manipulators; if he buys a bit and then talks it up, the price rises, and when retail investors follow suit, he sells it back, trapping them at the peak.
In essence, SHIB is a “low-priced substitute” created because many people missed out on Dogecoin and cannot afford Bitcoin and Ethereum. But to be clear, this is specifically designed to harvest retail investors.
So, you still ask me if SHIB can be invested in?
My stance is very clear: don't touch it. If you can hold Bitcoin, you can sleep well; if you hold SHIB, you might not even survive to the next bull market.
