ETH attempted to break 4700 twice but failed. What will happen next?
In the past few days, everyone should have seen the movement of ETH:
On the 25th: It surged to 4683 in one go, but failed to break the 4700 round number and quickly fell back to 4310, washing out a large number of latecomers.
On the 27th: It made another charge to 4660, still just short of the mark, failing to break 4700 and was pushed back again.
Many people are now losing patience:
"Why can’t it go up? Is it going to crash?"
In fact, this kind of position is the most challenging for human nature.
4700 is a key resistance level.
The two failed attempts indicate that large funds are continuously selling at this point, and a strong breakthrough in the short term requires new incremental funds.
4310 is a key support level.
The first drop touched 4310 and quickly rebounded, indicating that buying pressure below remains strong, and bears cannot push it down further.
The range-bound pattern is evident.
Currently, the price is locked between 4310 – 4700, with intense long and short battles.
Conservative Strategy:
Buy low in the range of 4310–4350, with a stop-loss below 4290.
Sell high in the range of 4650–4700, with a stop-loss above 4720.
Take advantage of the volatility in the range to harvest profits; don’t think about breaking through in one go.
Aggressive Strategy:
If it breaks through 4700 with volume and stabilizes → follow up with long positions, targeting 4850–5000.
If it falls below 4310 → follow up with short positions, targeting 4100–3980.
Core Advice:
Don’t get caught up in "is it going up or down"; the market is range-bound, and the smartest approach is to roll over and repeatedly harvest.
