Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) Executive Director Yip Wai-chung and Legislative Council member Wu Jietzhuang have been removed from the guest list of the Bitcoin Asia Summit held on August 28-29.

Foreign media: Hong Kong officials withdrew from the Bitcoin Asia Conference to avoid contact with Eric Trump.

Previously archived pages showed that the two were originally scheduled as speakers, but chose to withdraw after receiving a notice advising against contact with Eric Trump.
