The currency $WCT is a token of the project #WaIIetConnect which is an open-source protocol that allows cryptocurrency wallets to connect to decentralized applications (DApps) in a secure manner. The WCT token is used for governing the WalletConnect network, storing the token to ensure network security and earn rewards, performance rewards for contract operators and wallet providers, as well as potentially being used in the future for transaction fees.
