Recently, a supposed buyer interested in USDT wrote to me on WhatsApp. Up to that point, everything was normal… but then things got weird.

📩 They propose this to me:

“One of my clients will transfer the money to your bank account, and when you receive it, you send me the USDT.”

🎯 Sounds simple, right? You receive the money → you send the crypto → end.

🚫 Error! This is a very dangerous P2P scam modality. Here’s how it works:

💥 What is the scam about?

The scammer finds a real victim (someone who wants to buy USDT).

  1. They give you their bank account to make the transfer.

  2. You receive the money without knowing it comes from someone else.

  3. You send the USDT to the scammer.

  4. The real victim is left without their crypto… and you are stuck in the middle.

⚠️ It ends in reports, account blocks, and even legal problems.

🛡️ How to protect yourself?

✅ Always operate within the P2P platform of Binance or another that has escrow.
✅ Never accept transfers from third parties that are not in the trade.
✅ Be suspicious if they take you out of the platform chat.
✅ If something feels off… cancel and report.

📣 Report and share

I reported it immediately. Not just to the platform, but also in groups and communities. The only way to stop these scams is to talk about them.
