Lagrange's proof network still needs a set of "disaster recovery and downgrade scripts." In real production, there will always be upstream data not arriving, network congestion, computational hotspots, or abnormal explosions. At this point, validation should not be a hard cap, but should retreat in an orderly manner: downgrade to delayed validation, switch to a lower-cost but slower proof path, or temporarily store results for asynchronous verification. The key lies in "user-side interpretability" and "state consistency not being compromised."

In engineering, the "downgrade trigger conditions" and "thresholds for returning to normal state" should be written as parameters and included in monitoring and alerts. In the proposal stage, it is required that the "validation plan" includes downgrade paths and provides evidence of sample stress testing. At the same time, prepare offline auditing and sampling mechanisms to periodically recompute random tasks through independent channels, verifying errors and abnormal distributions. These seemingly cumbersome processes are necessary groundwork to make validation go from "noble and scarce" to "cheap and reliable."

When the validation network can fail gracefully and recover in an interpretable manner, the engineering team will treat it as stable building blocks for reuse. Lagrange's maturity comes from this humility towards an imperfect world.
